SHEET — SERVICES

Seven drawing services, one consistent standard

Every job — however small — is scaled, layered and dimensioned properly. Below is what each service includes, what we need from you to start, and what you receive at the end.

MC CAD Services provides CAD drafting and documentation based on client- or professional-approved information. Engineering design, certification and professional approval remain the responsibility of the relevant appointed professional.

01

Electrical layouts & as-built drawings

Distribution board layouts, reticulation plans and point schedules drawn from site markups, or as-built records produced once installation work is complete.

You provide

  • Existing floor plan or building outline
  • Marked-up layout, photos, or site notes
  • DB schedule or point list, if available

You receive

  • Layered DWG/DXF electrical layout
  • PDF for site and client issue
  • Legend and point schedule on sheet
02

Single-line diagrams

Single-line (SLD) diagrams built strictly from client-approved specifications, load schedules or equipment lists — we draw to the information supplied, not to assumptions.

You provide

  • Approved load schedule / equipment list
  • Protection and metering requirements
  • House style or template, if one exists

You receive

  • SLD in DWG/DXF and PDF
  • Correct symbols, labelling and ratings
  • Layout and labelling ready for your engineer's review
03

Site-development plans

Site layout drawings showing boundaries, setbacks, building footprints, parking, access and services coordination — prepared for building plan or development submission.

You provide

  • Survey diagram or SG diagram
  • Proposed layout or sketch
  • Relevant zoning / scheme conditions

You receive

  • Scaled site-development plan
  • Coverage, F.A.R. and setback annotations
  • DWG/DXF and PDF formatted to typical submission requirements
04

Town-planning CAD documentation

Subdivision, consolidation, rezoning and consent-use drawings prepared in the format required by the responsible town planner or municipality.

You provide

  • Cadastral / SG diagram data
  • Planner's instruction or sketch
  • Municipal drawing requirements, if known

You receive

  • Diagrams to the required scale & format
  • Erf numbers, areas and boundary data
  • DWG/DXF and PDF formatted for your planner's submission
05

Existing-building & measured drawings

Floor plans, elevations and sections produced from site measurements or a walk-through survey, for buildings with no existing CAD record.

You provide

  • Site access, or your own measurements
  • Reference photos of each elevation
  • Any partial or historic drawings on hand

You receive

  • Dimensioned plans, elevations, sections
  • Drawn to real-world scale
  • DWG/DXF and PDF sheet set
06

PDF-to-DWG conversion

Flat PDFs, scans and image-based drawings rebuilt as accurate, correctly scaled and layered CAD files — not an auto-traced approximation.

You provide

  • Source PDF, scan or image file
  • A known dimension or scale reference
  • Required layer standard, if any

You receive

  • Editable DWG/DXF, correctly scaled
  • Logical, named layers
  • Clean linework, text and hatching
07

Drawing revisions & CAD clean-ups

Updates to existing drawings, correction of inherited files, and clean-up of layer chaos, stray geometry and inconsistent text styles from files passed between multiple hands.

You provide

  • Existing DWG/DXF or PDF file
  • Markup or list of required changes
  • Target layer/text standard, if any

You receive

  • Updated file with a clear revision mark
